Master Bathroom Custom Vanity

My uncle wanted to have a new vanity built exactly to the inch of the space we had. Sure, he could have bought one from Lowes, but, (a) it would have been quite expensive to have it custom fit and built like I did it, and, (b) it would have meant that I didn't have the opportunity to build it myself. Duh.

This one was built with soft maple hardwood framing and birch plywood panels to match. I tried my hardest to make it fancy, while not going overboard. Glazing was added to help bring out the detail. The drawers are 3/4 inch solid maple construction with half-blind dovetails to ensure stability and longevity. I used a porter cable jig and spent several hours to get those tight joints. All of the trim and molding was made with a table saw and thickness planer. The doors and drawer fronts, however, were ordered to size from a small shop in Greenville. At the fair price of $30 per door and $20 per drawer front, it wasn't worth my time to make all those, so we ordered them.
